Apple iPad, the leading mover in the world of consumer electronics, has finally been launched on last Saturday. Until now, manufacturers were tossing around words like “revolutionary” and “magical” to describe their brain child. They also had to answer the critics, firing the gadget as nothing more than a larger version of iPod touch. 3^rd April, Apple Inc. witnessed long queues of anxiously waiting individuals to purchase the mobile device. While analysts are busy figuring out iPad’s usability and performance, the product sale is chasing to cross one million, going beyond Apple’s expectation!

This Wi-Fi enabled version with a storage capacity ranging from 16GB to 64GB has been priced from $499 to $699. The Revolutionary Tablet Computer has everything to ensure user’s computing pleasure. The first thing you will notice, there is just not much to comment on its designing. Bulk of its surface is taken up by multi-touch LED-backlit display. Some may think it’s too wide but it has been made purposefully to prevent the touch-screen from being inadvertently activated while handling.

Besides brilliant configuration which I will be discussing on upcoming posts in details, the device does house volume rocker, screen position lock, power/sleep button, head phone jack as essential components to make you feel yourself right at home.

However, several early bird iPad buyers are pointing to some expected things which are not present here. These include built-in video camera, USB ports and built-in tech support for viewing Flash-animation. Some are also complaining about weak Wi-Fi signaling. Still, users are admiring iPad features to a great extant. In a nut shell, if you want to make your computing experience faster, smoother and simpler, think of iPad computing.
