Exciting Gaming Experience with Microsoft SideWinder X8 Wireless Mouse

Author admin on 16-08-2010

Do you love to play computer games? If yes, here is good news for you. Microsoft presents the new SideWinder X8 wireless mouse featuring the world’s most advanced tracking with BlueTrack Technology™. With this mouse you can take pleasure in PC gaming at its best.

Microsoft SideWinder X8 Wireless Mouse

The new Microsoft Sidewinder mouse X8 sports a rugged look, combined with its wireless design and proprietor Blue Track Technology which is the latest in optical sensor technology. The best part of this technology is its accessibility across multiple surfaces, be it granite or a marble or a metal polished surface.

Next is its button placement. The buttons are placed in such a way that all buttons are easily accessible. The scroll wheel as well as the buttons are very much responsive. The thumb buttons are placed vertically unlike other mouse, to give better accessibility.

This is the first wireless sidewinder mouse from Microsoft. It uses the 2.4 Ghz band but updates a lot more per second than any other wireless mouse.

The wireless sidewinder uses a blue LED unlike the red LEDs or infrared laser to illuminate the surface under the mouse. The reflected Blue Light is picked up by a CMOS sensor which tracks the surface movements thereby translating them into cursor movements.

Microsoft Sidewinder mouse X8 also comes with an adjustable sensor which caps at 5000 dpi which also shows up on the screen on top of the mouse.

All seems good with this mouse except its size and occasional skips while using it. Users with smaller hands will have a little tough time handling this mouse. If it is used for long while gaming then temporary cramps might develop for some.

Soak up in Gaming with Logitech G500 Mouse

Author admin on 13-08-2010

Are you an avid PC gamer? If yes, you can try with the new Logitech G500 mouse. The mouse is much easier to use. G9X was the last edition which the company has launched in March and G500 is the new one with some new features.

Logitech G500 Gaming Mouse

This gaming mouse comes up with Battle-Worn finish. The difference between G9X and G500 is the interchangeable snap on grip that you can change as per your hand size. It looks like a conventional mouse. The three thumb buttons has been moved forward. G500 also has the micro-gear button. It is located just behind the scroll button. This button is at the bottom of G9X. That means, Logitech has not improved the quality of the mouse, just changed the place of the buttons of the features.

For the gamers, new arrangements of the buttons will be handy. 1) Every move made by the users will be registered with the game changing precisions. 2) The user can store the settings of the game and carry the mouse anywhere he/she wants. Users can also customize the weight of the Mouse.

But as per the market survey, Logitech should add the Dark field laser technology. Dark field will work on any surface including GLASS. For any kind of computer help, consult an expert.
