PRINT PROCESSOR DOES NOT EXIST – CAUSES AND RESOLUTION.

Author David Rechards on 17-06-2011

Are you facing a problem with your printer? Even after installation you get a pop up stating “Print Processor does not exist”? Feeling frustrated? Your solution is just one click away. It’s a problem that can be fixed without much hassle. It occurs because the print driver uses a custom print processor. Also creating a clustered printer causes this error.

It might occur due to the following reasons:-

* The connection may be faulty
* Print driver is not properly installed
* May be the person is trying to create a clustered printer

To fix this problem, it is required to uninstall and reinstall the driver. But above all do check that all the connections are in place. For further advanced troubleshooting, please feel free to get in touch with an expert for tech support.

Author Danial Cruz on 17-06-2011

Not being able to print from a web page is one of the more common problems people face today especially due to the wide range of browsers that are out in the market today. End-line users always face the situation of browsing through the various browser forums to find a solution and test various troubleshooting methods and make the situation even worse.

Reasons for this error are focused upon here under :

1. Documents application is not installed currently.
2. There is not enough memory to load the application.
3. The application does not support printing.
4. Additional plug-ins installed that might be interfering with the print   module.
5. Memory conflict.

You can try solving the above issues by trying to print the page offline, subscribing to the web page or manually printing each element but then again it will be safer to get printer support on the issue or get an online technician to fix the issue.

How to Print PDF Files

Author Sandra Jones on 16-06-2011

Sometimes PDF files (usually viewed with Adobe Acrobat Reader) fail to print properly, resulting in output consisting of only a header sheet or part of the file. Often an error message is produced. Many times, these files will print fine on HP printers but fail on Lexmarks. Unfortunately, almost all the RCS public printers are Lexmarks — the exception being vcsoutlw, which is an HP and usually prints PDFs without problems. However, there is a method that works a lot of the time on the Lexmarks (as well as HPs).

If the PDF is correct when viewing online but not when printed this may be due to the printer and printer software that you are using.  It is often caused when a figure or Scheme has characters which are not recognised by your printer software. One way of getting around this problem is to print the PDF as an image. When a printer prints an image it will ignore any fonts, symbols etc. which it doesn’t recognise.

Printing the PDF file:

Step-1 If you can view a PDF file but are having trouble printing it, download and save the file to your computer as described in #3, above.

Step-2 If you still have problems when printing the PDF file from your hard drive, deselect theDownload fonts once check box in thePrint dialogue box when printing, or try printing the PDF file on another printer.

Step-3 Make sure you are using the most current driver for your printer. Using an outdated printer driver can cause quite a few PDF problems. Most printer manufacturers post the most current printer drivers on their Web sites for free download.

Step-4 If the PDF file still will not print, try printing a different PDF file. If the different PDF file will print, try printing the original PDF either a few pages or one page at a time. Printing the PDF file one page at a time will often zero in on the problem page.

Step-5 Internet Explorer 5.0 users might also have a problem downloading PDF files because the security level of the Web browser is too low. To change the security setup in Internet Explorer, click on View on the main toolbar and then on Internet Options. Click on the Security tab, then click on the Low (Do not warn before running potentially damaging content) option. You should now be able to download PDF file. If you need to, switch the security back to the original setting, after downloading the file.

Step-6 If you still cannot print any or all pages of only one PDF file, that file may be damaged.

If you still have any problems regarding this you may get quick solution from a remote computer tech support company.
